Map view of Cryptology ePrint Archive

This is a map view of the affiliations of eprint authors who have reported the ROR ID of their affiliations. We only started collecting this data in May 2022, but there are institutions that have been identified in countries, from papers that reported ROR IDs. Only about 55% of the papers have included the ROR ID of an affiliation, and the others are not shown on this map. Circles indicate clusters of institutions, and you have to click on them or zoom in to see the individual institutions. The quality of the geocoding can be pretty far off due to a unfortunate decision by the ROR organization. For example, UCLA is off by about 12 miles.
