Dear Cramer_vs_Cramer,
Most call for papers for IACR venues allow this line of fast dissemination of knowledge.
It is a shame that someone accuses "famous cryptographers" in trying to bias the review process, without taking into consideration the importance of fast dissemination (and to some extent also the time stamping feature eprint offers)!!!
