BGKM: An Efficient Secure Broadcasting Group Key Management Scheme
Zhibin Zhou and Dijiang Huang
Abstract: Broadcasting Group Key Management (BGKM) scheme is designed to reduce communication, storage, and
computation overhead of existing Broadcasting Encryption Schemes (BES). To this end, BGKM proposes
a new broadcasting group management scheme by utilizing the basic construction of ciphertext policy
attribute based encryption and flat table identity management. Compared to previous approaches, our
performance evaluation shows that BGKM greatly improved performance in communication O(log n)
for single revocation and O((log n)(log m)) for bulk revocations), storage (O(log n) for
each group member), and computation (O((log n) (log m)) for both encryption and decryption),
where n is the ID space size and m is the number of GMs in the group. Moreover, BGKM scheme
provides group forward/backward secrecy, and it is resilience to colluding attacks.
