Reconciling CA-Oblivious Encryption, Hidden Credentials, OSBE and Secret Handshakes

Abstract: We compare four recent systems which have often been cited together, yet which have significant, subtle differences. We argue that the systems are not as interchangeable as several authors have suggested, attempt to correct common misconceptions about the systems, and suggest several potentially rich avenues of future work.
